Play one or all five of our legendary courses, all within 15 minutes of the resort. Each has a clubhouse and instruction is available at the PGA WEST Golf Academy. Resort guests can book tee times a year in advance.
Mountain Courses
Designed by Pete Dye, the Mountain Course is known for its playability and mountain views. Pot bunkers, rock formations, elevated tee boxes, and well-bunkered greens make for a challenging course.
Dunes Courses
This 72-par course designed by Pete Dye has hosted the PGA Club Professional Championship and the Californian State Open. Enjoy a traditional rolling-links style with Scottish and Irish flair.
Stadium Course
Home to the Desert Classic Golf Tournament, the 72-par Stadium Course designed by Pete Dye is ranked among the best courses in the world.
Greg Norman Course
Designed by Greg Norman, this course is Audubon Certified and inspired by the Australian outback. The course features an abundance of sand, wildflowers, lakes, and panoramic views.
Nicklaus Tournament Course
An intense, prestigious course designed by Jack Nicklaus with a dramatic setting and elements of the Golden Bear’s forceful presence.

At our PGA WEST Golf Academy, we offer world-class golf instruction and improvement training – from club-fitting to mobilization exercises. With customized training programmes and state-of-the-art video analysis, we ensure every student has a clear path towards improvement.

Golf policies
- Green Fees and Package Guests: Green Fees are inclusive of taxes, shared cart, and unlimited use of the practice facilities on day of play, excluding overseeding periods.
- Cancellation Policy: Tee times may be cancelled without penalty 48-hours prior to day of play.
- Golf Club Rentals: TaylorMade rental clubs with 2 sleeves of TaylorMade golf balls are included in the rental price.
- Acceptable Attire: collared shirts, long pants or walking shorts.
- Unacceptable Attire: denim, t-shirts, tank tops, athletic shorts, or cargo shorts.
- La Quinta Resort & Club and PGA WEST are non-metal spike facilities.
- All food and beverage must be purchased at the facility – personal coolers are not permitted.
